The Kaleidoscope Exploration at Kiewit Luminarium continued on Saturday, drawing people of all ages to explore concepts of mirrors and light.

Participants used black card stock, tongue depressors, and foil to create kaleidoscopes.

The program, which has been a hit over the weekend, encourages both children and adults to engage in playful learning.

“As you can see in this space, we’ve got littles, probably 3 or 4. We’ve got adults we’ve got tables of all kids, tables of all adults. And I think that’s really exciting. Frequently, as a adults, we forget to play. And I love that we have the opportunity to carve space out for that as well,” said Amanda Kephart.

The Kaleidoscope Exploration will continue at the Luminarium for two more weeks.
