Daytime Rentals

Host meetings with wall-to-wall views of the Missouri River in a private room available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with complimentary museum admission for your guests.

This versatile 2,650 square foot space can be separated and adapted for various events, including seminars, retreats, board meetings, trainings, and more to meet your needs.

Evening Rentals

Enjoy exclusive access with an evening private event rental.

Our state-of-the-art facility, can accommodate 25 to 1,000 guests. Rental includes advanced audio-visual and theatrical lighting options, knowledgable and engaged staff, security, and custodial services.

Event FAQs

Do you provide tables, chairs, linens, and other furniture?

We’ve got you covered with daytime River Room tables and chairs included. For evening 1st Floor and Full-Facility rentals some furniture and all linens would need to be contracted either through your catering team or an outside vendor.

Do you have a list of caterers that I can choose from for my event?

Yes, we offer a diverse list of approved caterers for your event, including our preferred caterer, Fig cafe. To request our approved caterers list, please email [email protected].

Are there nearby lodging options nearby for out-of-town guests?

Yes, the Luminarium is a 10-minute walk from the Old Market and 7 minutes from The Capitol District, both of which offer numerous hotels and restaurants for your guests to enjoy.

Is there parking available for guests?

Yes, there is FREE public parking available directly across the street and next to the museum. This parking is shared with The RiverFront parks (owned and operated by MECA) and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Do you offer discounts for nonprofits?

Yes, all nonprofits receive a 20% discount on our rental packages.

Do you host children’s birthday parties?

We welcome private children’s birthday party rentals, but we do not offer special birthday party activities or food and beverage packages at this time.
