What is love? This February, we’re getting to the heart of the matter and engaging all five senses in an exploration of the science of love.
Love is in the air at the Luminarium
Explore family-friendly fun during weekend hours, including rose dissections, an observation beehive where you can learn all about queen bees, and Luminator and Maker Space activities. At night, we’ll dim the lights and get a little romantic during three adults-only Night Lights with activities including a date night scavenger hunt for prizes, conversations with experts, and demonstrations on the science of chocolate. Add music, poetry, candy, and our Lover’s Lounge featuring one of the best views in the city, and the Luminarium may become your new favorite Valentine!
The Chemistry of Love begins Thursday, February 15 during Night Light and runs through Thursday, February 29.
Daytime Hours:
Saturday 10am–5pmSunday 10am–5pm
The Chemistry of Love demonstrations and activities are free with a daytime member ticket or general admission ticket.
Evening Hours:
Thursdays 7pm -10pm for adults only Night Lights
