Seedball Building with Milkweed Matters
Monarch butterflies and other pollinators are a crucial part of our ecosystem. On Sunday, July 7, you can help our little friends by building seedballs with Milkweed Matters at the Luminarium. As part of their mission to increase the breeding and feeding habitat for pollinators, Milkweed Matters will take the seedballs you build and give them to cyclists at this year’s RAGBRAI race. The racers will drop the seedballs on trails during their journey across Iowa this summer. Join us on Sunday, July 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., to build seedballs — and you can even take one home and plant it! This activity is included with any general admission or member ticket.
