Night Light 11/2/23: Fear + Dia de los Muertos Celebration

Are you superstitious? What keeps you up at night? Week two of Night Light: Fear continues with an exploration of what scares us and why. Try temporary and permanent interactive exhibits on fear and superstition, get your tarot cards read, and discover some relics from the Omaha Magic Society.

Thursday, November 2, also marks the start of our Dia de los Muertos celebration. We’ll be hosting an Ofrenda in tribute to Latinx scientists. View marigold installations, listen to lively performances by mariachi band Alexis y Sus Caballeros, and enjoy a delectable one-night-only menu from Fig. cafe featuring tamalespozole, and a refreshing clericot beverage, which has similarities to a sangria.
