Financial Access

We offer a range of pricing options to meet people where they are and make Kiewit Luminarium accessible for everyone, no matter their financial circumstances.

Discounted Admission

We offer discounted general admission daytime tickets to Teachers, Students (18+), Seniors (65+), Active Military personnel, Veterans, and Children of Teachers and Children of Active Military personnel. All members receive free daytime admission and discounted tickets for Night Light.

For more information, visit our Tickets page.

Indigenous Peoples Access Policy

We honor and welcome Indigenous families, recognizing our location on land traditionally occupied and cared for by Native peoples.

Through the Indigenous Peoples Access Policy, we offer complimentary admission to registered members of federally recognized tribes. Indigenous individuals who present a valid tribal identification card enjoy free entry along with their household members. This benefit applies to tickets issued onsite at our Welcome Desk only and is available year-round.

Camp Luminarium

We believe every child should have the opportunity to explore, learn, and grow through hands-on STEM experiences. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and community supporters, financial assistance is available to help make Camp Luminarium accessible to families who may need support with registration costs.

Financial Access may cover part or all of a camper’s registration fee, depending on demonstrated need and available funding. To apply, families must complete a Financial Access application for each camper they wish to enroll. As part of the application process, families are asked to submit a $25 application fee per week, per camper. This fee helps reserve a camper’s spot while the application is being reviewed. If an application is not approved for Financial Access, the fee will be fully refunded.

Applications are reviewed by our staff on a rolling basis as they are received. Families can expect to receive a response by email or phone within 1–2 weeks. Assistance is awarded based on available funds and financial need.

Museums for All

Kiewit Luminarium is proud to participate in Museums for All, a national initiative that promotes affordable access to museum experiences for all families. Visitors who present a valid SNAP EBT (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Electronic Benefit Transfer) card or a valid eWIC (Electronic Women, Infants, and Children) card are eligible for reduced admission of $1 per person for up to 2 adults and 6 children.

We accept SNAP EBT and eWIC cards from all 50 States and the District of Columbia. The cards cannot be used to pay for museum services or products. This benefit applies only to tickets purchased onsite at our Welcome Desk for standard daytime entry.
