The Kiewit Luminarium team was honored to participate in the 43rd annual Metropolitan Science & Engineering Fair Awards Ceremony, held virtually on March 26. Silva Raker and Sirisha Sualy participated in a keynote conversation moderated by Bria Gilmore, a college junior and five-time MSEF award winner.
Area high school and middle school students participate in the MSEF each year, where they can earn cash prizes and awards. In addition, students with the top projects from each division compete at the state level, and top projects there are invited to present to the American Junior Academy of Science. Through the fair, MSEF participants learn more about science and engineering and develop communication and presentation skills.
Our congratulations to all of the young scientists who participated and to those who received awards this year! Visit this link to watch the Awards Ceremony and keynote conversation.
