Join Megan Bull Bear, owner of Lakota Made, as she hosts an interactive experience exploring practices of growing and tending to medicinal plants. Megan will share traditional Indigenous insights into a variety of plants, their medicinal benefits, and practices of building relationships with the natural world.
The discussion will highlight the importance of food sovereignty, urban gardening, and community sustainability. We will have a selection of seeds to take home so you can practice what you’ve learned and begin growing your own medicinal garden!
This workshop is open to anyone interested in sustainable living, herbal medicine, and urban gardening. No prior gardening experience is necessary!
