Experience the Cosmos: The James Webb Space Telescope is a remarkable multi-sensory exhibition produced using NASA images from the James Webb Space Telescope and the Hubble Telescope.

Explore the telescope’s groundbreaking mission to use advanced technology to unveil distant galaxies, the birth of stars as nebulas, and exoplanet atmospheres that are reshaping our understanding of the cosmos.

Experience the Cosmos includes interactive exhibits, visuals, informative displays, and multi-sensory “tactile images,” offering a rich learning experience for individuals of all ages and abilities.

What is a “Tactile Image”?

A tactile image harnesses the senses of touch, sound, and smell to help the blind and visually impaired community experience visual knowledge in a meaningful way.

Having worked extensively with the blind community, Tactile Images’ patented technology allows the visually impaired to create accurate mental pictures of visual imagery without the need for a sighted companion.
